Treasure Hunting Tips

Your Musketeer Advantage detector will perform at its best when the coil is

kept in contact with the ground. If you are not yet an experienced operator, you

should practice maintaining a constant coil height at the extremity of each

swing; maintaining contact with the ground will make this easier. This is

important as variation in coil height at the end of each swing can cause

confusing sounds and will reduce detection depth.

NOTE:

Each sweep of the coil should overlap the previous one by 25%. This will

ensure good ground coverage.

Keeping the coil in contact with the ground will increase detection depth and

response to small objects.
